Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) ROUNDS 2010

CAP 2009 – Change in Rules

Maharashtra Candidate appeared for MHT-CET 2009 and AIEEE 2009 are required to submit single application form as Maharashtra Candidate and select want to apply under AIEEE as Yes in your online form. Do not fill separate application form for MHTCET based score and AIEEE 2009 score. If it is found that the candidate has submitted two separate application form, then both the application forms of the candidate will be rejected and will not be considered for admission.

All the eligible Maharashtra State candidates (Type A-E) who have a valid MHT-CET-2008 score and have been assigned Maharashtra State Merit number and whose name appear in the merit list for respective CAP rounds prepared by the Competent Authority shall be considered for allotment in these Rounds.
Candidates who have confirmed admission in any one of the Autonomous Institutes
are not eligible to participate in any of the CAP rounds-I/II/III/IV conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, M.S.,Mumbai

IF YOU DO NOT TAKE ADMISSION YOU ARE OUT OF THE ENTIRE ADMISSION PROCESS.

IF YOU ARE ALLOTTED ANY COLLEGE OUT OF OPTION NUMBERS 10 TO 20. YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO TAKE ADMISSION OR REFUSE THE ALLOTTMENT BY NOT TAKING THE ADMISSION.

IF YOU DO NOT REPORT TO INSTITUTE WHICH IS ALLOTTED TO YOU, THEN & THEN ONLY YOU BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR NEXT ROUND.

IF YOU TAKE ADMISSION TO THE ALOTTED INSTITUTE THEN YOU CAN NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THE NEXT ROUNDS.
IF YOU ARE NOT ALLOTTED ANY OF THE INSTITUTE YOU AUTOMATICALLY BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR NEXT ROUND.

ROUND II:

(You have to fill fresh option form by paying fees of Rs.100/-)

IF YOU ARE ALLOTTED ANY COLLEGE OUT OF FIRST 15 OPTIONS GIVEN YOU HAVE TO COMPULSARILY TAKE ADMISSION.

IF YOU DO NOT TAKE ADMISSION YOU ARE OUT OF THE ENTIRE ADMISSION PROCESS.
IF YOU ARE ALLOTTED ANY COLLEGE OUT OF OPTION NUMBERS 16 TO 30. YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO TAKE ADMISSION OR REFUSE THE ALLOTTMENT BY NOT TAKING THE ADMISSION.

IF YOU DO NOT REPORT TO INSTITUTE WHICH IS ALLOTTED TO YOU, THEN & THEN ONLY YOU BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR NEXT ROUND.

IF YOU TAKE ADMISSION TO THE ALOTTED INSTITUTE THEN YOU CAN NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THE NEXT ROUNDS.

YOU HAVE TO COMPULSARILY TAKE ADMISSION.

IF YOU DO NOT TAKE ADMISSION YOU ARE OUT OF THE ENTIRE ADMISSION PROCESS.
IF YOU ARE NOT ALLOTTED ANY OF THE INSTITUTE
YOU AUTOMATICALLY BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR NEXT ROUND.

Procedure adopted for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for the academic year 2008-09:
The procedure for CAP consists of following major stages:

Stage I
Display of provisional Merit List on website www.dte.org.in/fe2008, indicating State level
rank, Home University Rank, Category Rank, AIEEE Rank etc.
Stage II
Issue of Information Brochure at ARCs
Stage III
Filling up of Online Option Form on website www.dte.org.in/fe2008, for each of the CAP rounds I/II/III by eligible candidates.
Stage IV
Confirmation of Online Option Form for each of the CAP rounds I/II/III by the eligible candidate in person at ARC only
Stage V
Display of Provisional Allotment indicating allotment after each of the CAP rounds I/II/III on the website www.dte.org.in/fe2008 and at the ARC
Stage VI
Reporting to the institute as per allotment of the CAP rounds I/II/III and confirmation of admission by the candidate
Stage VII
Conduction of CAP round-IV i.e. admission round by counseling
